The Stables in St Germans are attractive on two fronts – firstly the location set in an aesthetically designed stable courtyard on the Port Eliot Estate, – and secondly it just has a great relaxed vibe. In the daytime it serves tasty light lunches, yummy cakes and excellent coffees. In the evenings it transforms into the Elephant bar – here you can sip a fancy cocktail and listen to some live music (at the weekends). There is a funky shop selling a range of bougie interesting gifts, you can also purchase a ticket for Port Eliot House and/or Gardens, if you feel like making a day of it and dog grooming parlour on the other side!
